RESTRICTED COMMUNITY ACCESS
All Watermark communities (IL, AL, MC, Springs) currently have visitation restrictions. Only “essential visitors” are permitted to enter and must be screened using the Visitor/Vendor Screening Log. This applies to all levels of care.


COMMUNICATION
Watermark has several communication protocols in place to make sure that individuals receive timely information and instructions.

In addition to internal systems for communication with associates and leadership, Watermark uses the Family Communication Tool (FCT) to send email to families of residents. The FCT is used for regular as well as time-sensitive messages. If you are a family member of a resident and have not received a FCT communication, please contact the location where your family member resides to make sure we have your correct email address.

At communities Watermark communicates with residents through the FCT, printed materials placed in their mailboxes, posters and flyers placed in high traffic community areas as well as notes under their doors.


OUTINGS
At this time all community event outings have been canceled. Watermark is encouraging residents and families to consider what trips are necessary and what might be delayed, understanding that some appointments cannot be delayed. If residents must be away from the community, residents can wait in the lobby for pick up. Family members will not be able to enter the lobby.


DINING
Please be advised of the following updates to our dining program. In order to support social isolation guidelines, we will be arranging for food delivery to residents’ rooms. Menus will be delivered ahead of time where you may select your choices. These choices will be limited, however we will do our best to offer variety. We hope to resume dining together as soon as it is a safe option.


COMMUNITY LIFE PROGRAMMING
All group events are canceled in all levels of care.
